George Heaney Sent Us This Lovely Old Picture of Our Shetlander
Along With the Following Information:

HGE 219, the Duple Vista-bodied Bedford OB currently on its way back to Shetland for continued
preservation, was new to the Scottish Wholesale Co-operative Society Ltd, Glasgow in 1950 and then not
required.  It then operated for three Shetland operators - Thomson, Sandwick from 1950 to 1954;
Johnson, Scalloway from then till 1968; and Watt, Reawick from 1968 till 1979.
Here it is in Johnson ownership at Victoria Pier, Lerwick.
